It's a known fact: MEN are going to be traveling to attend this event!
This evolutionary erotic festival for gay men is attractive and it's the first one we've organized. There will be more!
For now, if you're lucky, you'll be among the 35-45 MEN who get themselves to Asheville, North Carolina, United States of America by May 21!
HEALTH & VITALITY
Our primary request, first and foremost, is that everyone who attends these events feels really excited about being here! That means that if you have any concerns about your health, or how "safe" these events are for you or for other people, we recommend staying home. The Urban Tantra Experiment is an amazing concept which can be replicated all over the world--not least of all in Asheville again later in the year. Rest assured, there will be more.
That much said, this is a very special time, when men have been apart and are craving physical, erotic, sexual, and soulful connection with other men! That's why we're having this event! So please...if you find that you're really excited about coming here, that you no longer have even an inkling of fears or concerns, and that you're 100% completely free of anxiety or fear, then come! That might narrow it down a wee little bit, but that's OK! Our cute little "urban" Tantra festival can accommodate a maximum of 35-45 men, so get yourself here and let's have fun!
The End. Now, let's begin...
AIRPORTS & FLIGHTS
Asheville, North Carolina is a small city which has been rapidly growing. You can now fly non-stop to Asheville from New York, DC, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Austin, numerous Florida cities, and Las Vegas! The airline which seems to offer the most non-stops to Asheville is Allegiant Air, but many others are competing. Most major airlines route to Asheville with a stop in Charlotte, Atlanta, Chicago, or Dallas.
Asheville airport is 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Alternative airports are Greenville, SC (1 hour, 15 min.) and Charlotte, NC (2 hours).
SCHEDULING YOUR FLIGHT
If you're flying in and you're planning to attend the first event, 6:30 to 9:30 PM on Friday evening, May 21, you'll want to schedule your flight or transportation to arrive in Asheville by 3:30 or 4:00 PM Friday at the latest, and you may even plan to arrive earlier (even the day or two before) to settle in, enjoy the environs, and get a fantastic erotic massage from one of my boyfriends (Phillipe or Jimmy--book ahead! They're both excellent, experienced erotic masseurs and they're busy!).
Likewise, if you're flying in and you want to enjoy the final event, from 2:00 to 5:00 on Sunday afternoon, May 23, you'll want to schedule your departure from Asheville airport no earlier than 7:30 PM Sunday evening (that would mean leaving directly from the event for the airport at 5:30 PM). You might consider staying in town an extra day or two or three. Make it a week if you like! It's beautiful in May, and probably even warm enough for me to do a couple of Tantric-Erotic, Sacred Intimacy, & Transformational Dom-Sub Sessions outdoors (or otherwise in my home studio) on Tuesday and Wednesday--possibly Monday afternoon--May 24-26.
GETTING AROUND TOWN
Renting a car expands your possibilities for exploring the surrounding mountains, but if you're mainly coming for FIVE EROTIC EVENTS with MEN in 3 DAYS, you won't have much time to go for a Sunday-afternoon drive anyway, so you'll be happy to know that Asheville is small enough to easily get around with Uber or Lyft rides of 15 minutes or less. (It's occasionally more difficult to find rideshares between midnight and 6 AM, but a resourceful heart usually does just fine, especially by allowing extra time). West Asheville and Montford--the two neighborhoods where most of our events are being held--are very walkable, with lots of restaurants and stores within a 10-minute walk of your home.
2 out of 4 of the potential venues for our weekend of events are within 4-7 minutes' drive of downtown Asheville and the other 2 are downtown! That means that if your main focus is to come for the weekend and enjoy erotic events for men, your best bet probably would be to search for lodging with downtown Asheville as your center, and move outward from there. This is, after all, the Asheville Urban Tantra Festival. There are some really cool places to enjoy in the surrounding mountains, but logically, the choice of how far you are from the center of town might be affected by how many of the 5 events you plan to attend, how long you plan to stay, and whether or not you plan to have a car.
What did we ever do without AirBnB? You'll find a wealth of possibilities on sites like AirBnB, VRBO, Booking.com, and Expedia.com/hotels. If you're interested in rock-bottom-affordable lodging with dorm-type communal accommodations, there are two hostels in Asheville--Sweet Peas Hostel downtown, as well as Bon Paul & Sharky's Hostel in West Asheville. I (Brad, the person writing this) have never stayed at either hostel, which is why I've also created this page on my website for homestays. Currently, there's only one being offered during this event, but if there are more, they will be posted here: bradamberheart.com/lodging.
Welcome to a full weekend of erotic FUN and transformation for men!
